The new facility of the European Centre of Excellence is located next to, and integrated with the current campus of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen – Bory.
There are two separate buildings sharing common infrastructure. One six-storey building is house of NTIS – New Technologies for the Information Society, the European Centre of Excellence, while the other four-storey building is host the Centre for Technical and Natural Education and Research (CTPVV). Both centres are accessible through a common entrance and share common infrastructure: see diagrams.
CTPVV was funded by the Operational Programme Research and Development for Innovations, priority axis 4. The project aimed at improving the quality and increasing the numbers of graduates making their careers in research and development.
